Feather Nest is a land lease community for growing families as well as retirees--we have something for everyone.  Feather Nest is located in Somerset County, on Route 160 between Windber and Central City.  We offer a country setting while being conveniently located for shopping, dining and entertainment in Richland and Windber.  The Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber is only a few minutes away.  For the kids, there is a Windber School District bus stop right at the entrance to our community.

Lot rent in Feather Nest is $275 per month and includes garbage and sewer, when you own your home.   Water is supplied by the Windber Area Authority.  There is a water meter on each home that is read monthly and your water usage is included on your Feather Nest rent statement each month. 

Even though Feather Nest is at approximately 90% capacity, there are still nice home sites available for your new home!  With lots available on Holly Path, Garden Drive, and Crabapple Lane, there truly is a spot available for everyone!
